The rat somehow made it out of the cat's claws
Fell in love with the queen of the drama dolls
and found love in a dumpster full of broken hearts
awake on coffee he sang a poem

So... Depression is just awful. Hangovers no longer provide a suitable cure. Love makes you panic in self-reflection, and a black hole seemed like a perfect starting point to dive from. Songs of Hope and Death was written and recorded over the course of three years, several different states (MN, NY, and VT) and finally self-'released' in November of 2007. Musicians live and recorded;
